Gan Israel Preschool

Gan Israel Preschool emphasizes and emergent curriculum where the focus is on process more than product; on the children's interests more than the teacher's; on what happens rather than what is planned to happen. By helping children see the lessons and learning in the world around them and among themselves, the teachers create lifelong, independent learners and foster creativity and problem solving. We present an activity-oriented program which includes Jewish teachings and traditions and fosters respect and interdependence among children.

• Preschool hours: 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM
• Two to five-day programs available
• Additional days and early care (starting at 8:00 AM) upon request
• Teacher to student ratio - 1:6
• In-house gymnastics program
• Music and movement, local fieldtrips, enivronmental awareness program, and basic development program for healthy living

Enrichment Program (1:00-3:00 PM Daily)

• Tuesday: Art Media
• Wednesday: Gardening Club
• Thursday: Science Club
• Friday: Shabbat Club

Prices

• Annual Registration Fee: $75
• 2 Mornings: $295 a month
• 3 Mornings: $325 a month
• 4 Mornings: $360 a month
• 5 Mornings: $415 a month
• Drop-In Rate: $35
• Enrichment: $50 per class per month
• Additional care: $7 per hour

Gan Israel Preschool is nonprofit, licensed by the State of California Department of Social Services. We are a beneficiary of the Jewish Community Federation of San Francisco, Penninsula, Marin, and Sonoma County & First 5 of California.
