Adult B'nai Mitzvah

Through study and building personal community, B'nai Israel offers an opportunity for adults to become Bar or Bat Mitzvah. This rite of passage reaffirms our roles in Jewish life.

Adult B'nai Mitzvah groups meet regularly to examine basic Jewish topics as well as learn to participate in the Shabbat morning service and the reading of Torah.

If you are past the traditional age of 12-and-a-half or 13 years old and are feeling called to make a commitment to your Jewish identity, undertaking the deep learning of B'nai Mitzvah could be for you.
